Expect a few intergalactic surprises behind the bar (your favorite beertender may or may not have transformed into something… not entirely human), plenty of great beer, and just enough sci-fi nonsense to make things interesting.

All aboard for one of the most satisfying moments in American history—Golden Spike Day!
On May 10th, Iron Ox Brewing is celebrating the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad in 1869, when a single golden spike quite literally connected the country from coast to coast. It was a big deal: faster travel, stronger trade, and a whole new era of “let’s see what’s over there.” History… but make it drinkable.
We’re marking the occasion the Iron Ox way—with a little learning, a lot of laughter, and the memory of one very committed guinea pig who took railroad construction very seriously.
Enjoy Happy Hour all day ($1 off drinks) while you raise a glass to innovation, determination, and finally getting things on track. It’s also BYOF (Bring Your Own Food), so pack your snacks, order in, or roll up with your favorite takeout like a true 1800s pioneer (but with better options).

Join us Monday, May 11th at Iron Ox Brewing for a Twilight Zone–themed Comedy Showcase hosted by Connor Johnson of With Regret—because nothing says “great decisions” like laughing in a room where reality already feels a little questionable.
Behind the bar, Sarah will be shaking things up (literally), serving beers and a specialty seltzer OxTail that may or may not alter your perception of time, space, and how many you said you’d have. Not into booze? No worries—the mocktail version is always available (along with other NA options), because even in alternate dimensions, options matter.
Food truck is TBD, which honestly feels very on-theme.

This week’s featured act is Brian Holden, a man of many talents: professional joke-teller, part-time skateboard philosopher, and internationally experienced in “making questionable decisions” (ask him about Spain… or don’t, depending on how much you like surprises). Expect stories, sharp takes, and at least one moment where you think, “Should he be saying that?” (Yes. Yes, he should.)
